About Sunset Black :
Sunset Black was formed in Kansas City, MO in 1997. Their debut album, Common Ground (MCA Records), released in 2002, gave the band an opportunity to tour the World and to focus on their craft with added momentum. Sunset Black creates emotionally driven hard rock that is as much melody and beauty as it is power and intensity. Dynamic, multi-layered guitarplay, a tight rhythm section and beautiful melodies with raw, heartfelt lyrics flow forth from their music. Since reuniting in May of 2008, original members Brandon Sammons (vocals/guitar), Mike Evans (guitar) and Jaime Gehly (drums) reunited in Los Angeles, CA welcoming new bass player Scotty Springer.
